¼ teaspoon salt
¼ teaspoon black pepper
¼ teaspoon garlic powder
¼ teaspoon onion powder
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon oil
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or ½ teaspoon dried)
Instructions
1. Cut all potatoes into ½-inch cubes.
2. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and add butter and oil.
3. Add chopped potatoes and stir to coat in the butter-oil mixture.
4. Sprinkle with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Do not add parsley yet.
5. Cover the skillet and steam the potatoes for 3 to 4 minutes.
6. Uncover and stir to flip the potatoes. Continue cooking uncovered, stirring occasionally.
7. Once the potatoes are crisp outside and soft inside, remove from heat.
8. Sprinkle with fresh parsley and serve immediately.
Notes
Use a large skillet to avoid overcrowding and promote even browning.
Fresh herbs add flavor at the end but can be skipped for simplicity.
