Description
Savor the taste of summer with this delightful grilled BBQ chicken recipe. Perfectly marinated and cooked to juicy perfection.
Ingredients
4 chicken breasts
1 cup BBQ sauce (homemade or store-bought)
2 tablespoons olive oil
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and pepper to taste
Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)
Instructions
Start by preparing the marinade. In a bowl, mix the BBQ sauce, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper.
Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring each piece is well-coated.
Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight for maximum flavor.
Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
Remove the chicken from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
Place the chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on one side without moving it.
Flip the chicken and grill for another 6-7 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
Once cooked, remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
Serve your grilled BBQ chicken with additional BBQ sauce on the side and enjoy!
Notes
Feel free to adjust the spices according to your preference.
For an extra smoky flavor, consider using a charcoal grill.
