Description

Satisfy your sweet tooth with this easy and delicious peach dump cake recipe, perfect for any occasion!

Ingredients

4 cups fresh or canned peaches, sliced
1 cup granulated sugar
1 lemon, juiced
1 box yellow cake mix (or gluten-free alternative)
1 stick (1/2 cup) unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream for serving

Instructions

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large bowl, combine the sliced peaches, granulated sugar, and lemon juice. Toss until the peaches are evenly coated.
Spread the peach mixture evenly in a greased 9×13-inch baking dish.
Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the peaches, making sure to cover them evenly.
Drizzle the melted butter over the cake mix, ensuring that it saturates the mix as much as possible.
Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg over the top for added flavor.
If using, scatter the chopped pecans or walnuts on top.
Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the peaches are bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes before serving.
Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream for the ultimate dessert experience.

Notes

You can use gluten-free cake mix to make the recipe gluten-free.
Adjust the sugar based on the sweetness of your peaches.
